about archipro

archipro architects is a design-oriented studio for architecture, urban, planning and design led by Hideki Yoshimatsu and partners since 1987. The firm has been recognized with numerous awards, publications and exhibitions for quality and excellence in design.

Especially, 3 projects with Haizuka Earthworks and "hula house" have been internationally awarded, ar+d Award, Dedalo Minosse International Prize, American Wood Design Award, International Architecture Award and so on.

Our philosophy of integration is shown in these projects.

Hideki Yoshimatsu is a professor at Tokai University where he has taught since 1998. He teaches Architectural Design, Landscape Design, and Urban Theory. And he studies a design research in architecture and urban space using "resolution" and "matiere" as a parameter.

Both aspects are included in the design concept of our works.
